Do I need cycling experience to join a tour?
No. Our e-bikes have pedal assist that makes hills and distance easy, so our tours suit most fitness levels and ages. Our guides ride at a relaxed pace so you can take in the scenery and enjoy the day.
Are the tours on electric bikes?
Yes. We use quality e-bikes with pedal assist so everyone can ride comfortably, whatever their fitness level. Standard bikes are also available if you prefer, and both are available for hire.
Can children join a tour?
Yes. Contact us for age recommendations on specific tours, and we can help you pick the ride that suits your family best. Kids bikes are available for hire too.
What is included on a food and wine tour?
Guided e-bike riding, cellar-door and local produce tastings, and lunch on most tours. Each tour page lists exactly what is included so you know what to expect before you book.
Do you offer self-guided hire as well as guided tours?
Yes. You can hire e-bikes or standard bikes and set off on your own self-guided ride, or join a fully guided tour with a local guide who knows the region.
Where do I pick up and drop off hire bikes?
From whichever of our locations you book. Woodside is at the Woodside Providore, 69 Onkaparinga Valley Road. Hahndorf is on Mount Barker Road. Adelaide City is on War Memorial Drive. Your booking confirmation will tell you exactly where to meet us.
Do you cater for corporate or private group bookings?
Yes. We run corporate and private group tours with itineraries tailored to your group. Get in touch and we will help you plan the day.
Do you run multi-day tours?
Yes. We offer supported multi-day tours, including a 7-day Flinders Ranges and Clare Valley tour and a 7-day South Australian food and wine tour. Everything is looked after so you can just ride and enjoy it.
How do I book?
You can book any tour online through its page on our website. Day tours can be booked instantly, and multi-day tours are booked through their trip pages. If you would rather talk it through first, call us on 0405 623 588.
What should I wear and bring, and are helmets provided?
Wear comfortable clothes and closed-in shoes, and bring sunscreen, sunglasses and a water bottle. We provide the bike, a helmet and a quick safety briefing before you set off, so all you need to bring is yourself.
Where are you located?
We operate from three locations across the Adelaide Hills and Adelaide: Woodside (Woodside Providore, 69 Onkaparinga Valley Road), Hahndorf (Mount Barker Road) and Adelaide City (War Memorial Drive). Each tour and hire page tells you which location you are riding from.
What are your opening hours?
We are open Sunday to Thursday from 9am to 4pm, and Friday and Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
How far will we ride, and how long do tours take?
It varies by tour, and each tour page lists the distance and the duration. Because our e-bikes do the hard work with pedal assist, the distance feels comfortable even if you do not ride often.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms are shown on each tour’s booking page. Day tours are booked through Rezdy and multi-day tours through WeTravel, each with its own cancellation policy, so please check the terms on the tour you are booking.
